CV Studio would like to express their commitment to being certified with two excellent organizations. The Forest Stewardship Council and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative are two of the world’s leading sustainable forestry and certification programs. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) guarantees that all the forest products you purchase certified under the FSC, come from responsibly managed forests and verified recycled sources. They can offer this guarantee because the forests are certified and managed under a strict set of environmental and social standards. These environmental and social standards are created by representatives from environmental, social and management groups.The wood and pulp fibres harvested are tracked from certified forests through to the consumer. Becoming certified with the FSC puts you into this chain of custody. The SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) is created by the American Forest and Paper Association. The measures and standards set up by the SFI address both environmental and silvicultural issues. These rules and regulations are supported and promoted by program participants to further educate and train involved parties of the Forestry, Wood and Paper Industries. Before we become fully certified, CV Studio pledges to agree to the terms of agreement of the Forest Stewardship Council and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. We will continue to promote and support the development of better forestry practices developed by either of the two organizations.
